Beef hearts along with all forms of offal are a popular staple for
cultures residing along the ancient silk road.
Skewered Beef hearts cooked in Artisan Tandoor Hunter using traditional method.
Ingredients
- Beef Hearts
- Brown Onions
- Black Pepper
- Paprika
- Salt
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Harissa (Ground Chilli Sauce/Paste – optional)
- Vegetable oil
Process
- Remove fat (very tough) from Beef hearts and dice into equal portions.
- Place diced Beef hearts into mixing bowl.
- Dice 2 whole brown Onions and add to existing mixing bowl.
- Add Paprika, black Pepper and Salt to existing mixing bowl.
- Add Harissa and 1/4 glass of Apple Cider Vinegar to existing mixing bowl.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Skewer the Beef hearts with Onion in-between. The Onion will keep the Beef hearts tender during the
cooking process (Onionjuices will drip downwards onto Beef hearts)
- Cook in Artisan Tandoor oven for approximately 20 minutes.
